Who We Are

We are a proudly Zimbabwean association of companies based in Bulawayo, Matabeleland with our hearts set firmly on developing our country. Starting originally in the timber-manufacturing sector in 1994 our newest associate member is focusing on solar energy solutions.

We take our name from the Khami Kingdom – the 15th Century African fortress close to Bulawayo, whose subjects were renowned as a proud, strong and self-sufficient community. They relied fully on and valued the natural resources in their area.

Shareholdings differ between associate companies but all subscribe to our charter based as it is on a triple bottom line – ENVIRONMENTAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL AWARENESS.
